Lubricant helps reduce component abrasion and protects components from corrosion. BODE lubricants are designed for BODE diesel generator to efficiently reduce wear, such as galling and scaring, and to help prevent seizing. Also BODE provides excellent cleanliness, lubricating and heat radiation performance.

Choosing Fuel, Lubricating Oil, Coolant

Fuel for diesel generating set can be classified into light diesel fuel, heavy diesel fuel and kerosene. The light diesel fuel has 5 various levels: NO. 10, NO.0, NO.-10, NO.-20 and NO.-35. BODE generating sets applies NO.0 or above light diesel fuel or similar diesel fuel.

Choosing Lubricating Oil

1.Choosing Using Level

Using level choice is mainly subject to engine model. Engines of different models vary a lot in power, average rotation of piston, consequent effective pressure of cylinder and engine revolution. The higher the effective pressure of cylinder is, the higher the engine revolution is, and consequently the higher requirement for the using level of oil. Generally, a new engine has higher requirement for using level of oil. Using level of oil must be chosen strictly in accordance with the engine usage instruction. If there is no same level oil, a higher level rather than a lower level should be chosen.

2.Choosing Viscidity Level and Complex Oil

Viscosity level choice of oil is mainly subject to environmental temperature. See Table5-1 Application Rage of Complex Oil

Oil for diesel engine is classified into Level CG and Level CH .The viscidity level should be chosen in accordance with the following figure
