Technical Maintenance For Diesel Generator
Date: May 25, 2015 Source: Hamac Machinery
The regular technical maintenance is very important for using the diesel generators reasonably. To keep the generator in good technical state, and extend its using life, we must execute the rule of technical maintenance strictly.
The diesel generator maintenance is classed as follow:
(1) Daily maintenance (8~10 working hours)
(2) Class I technical maintenance (Total 50 working hours)
(3) Class II technical maintenance (Total 250 working hours)
(4) Class III technical maintenance (Total 1000 working hours)
Daily Maintenance
1) Check oil sump, oil pump, air compressor, air filter, oil level in the gear box, if the oil level is too high; check out the reason and fix it. If too low, add oil to the prescribe level.
2) Check the cooling water level in the radiator, fill to enough. If the temperature is lower than 5℃, blow off the water in the radiator.
3) Check and fix the outside bolts and nuts, get rid of the leakage of oil, water and gas.
4) In the dusty environment, use compressed air to clean the dust on the filter core.
5) Clean the outside mud, dust and oil.
6) Check the color of exhaust smoke, the sound of inner engine.
1. Class I technical maintenance
1) Execute all items in the daily maintenance.
2) Clean the core of oil filter with clear diesel fuel. Clean the oil centrifuge every two class I technical maintenance terms.
3) Clean the dust on the air filter.
4) Check the intensity of the fan belt.
5) Fill lubricate to the bear of water pump.
6) Check every part of generator, fix it if need.
7) After maintenance, start the diesel generator sets and check the running condition, get rid of the faults.
2. Class II technical maintenance
1) Execute all the items in Class I technical maintenance.
2) Change the lubricating oil, clean the oil sump and oil screen.
3) Clean the oil filter, change the filter core.
4) Change the lubricate oil in the inject pump and air compressor.
5) Clean the fuel tank, filter screen and tube. Clean the filter core with clear diesel.
6) Clean the inner and fan of compressor.
7) Blow away the dust in the air compressor with compressed air, check out every part.
8) Check and adjust the gas valve clearances, and the decompress process.
9) Check the press of opening injecting fuel, and the quality of injection, adjust it if necessary.
10) Fill some lubricate grease to clutch, check the push rod and bear.
11) Check the detector of the voltage whether it is OK.
3. Class III technical maintenance for generator sets
1) Execute all the items in Class II technical maintenance.
2) Clean cooling system, remove the furring.
3) Clean the oil cooling machine.
4) Change air filter core and diesel filter core.
5) Disassemble the cylinder cover and check. Check the condition of valve seal. Remove the gathering charcoal, rub the gas valve accordingly.
6) Check the nuts, bolts of cylinder, main bare and connecting rods, whether they are fixed or not. Adjust the moment value.
7) Check the pumps, change the lubricate grease; if necessary, change the water seals.
8) Check the starter, alternator, clean and fill new lubricate grease.
9) Check injecting pump, adjust the advance angle of supporting oil, and adjust the injecting pump accordingly.
10) Check the air compressor, polish the valve, and clean the gathering charcoal.
11) Check the clutch, clean the inner gathering dusts and oil fill with new grease.
